Kawakin's CORE-POT pot bearing consists of a compression-resistant chloroprene rubber sheet tightly placed in a steel pot subjected to vertical and rotational loads, on top of which is a piston plate that both transmits vertical and horizontal loads to the wall pot, as well as the support of the slide (of PTFE or special sliding material). The pot bearing is connected to the upper structure and the lower part by a system of anchor rods and connecting bolts.For bearings requiring unidirectional displacement, a guide bar system will be added.
The entire bearing surface and details including bolts and bolt threads are sprayed with anti-corrosion protection by Al-Mg(5%) metal thermal coating method with an advanced plasma arc spray gun, ensuring durability corrosion resistance throughout life without coating maintenance.

1. Capable of carrying large loads

   Large vertical load capacity up to 50,000kN in service limit state and 75,000kN in strength limit state.
   Unlimited horizontal load capacity. Our company can design horizontal load bearing according to customer's request with special structure bearing. Unlimited spitting capacity. When necessary, an uplift load-bearing structure is designed to meet the customer's requirements.

2. Has a long service life

   The pot bearing is a bearing structure with the main material made of steel. Steel materials are sensitive to the appearance of rust, conventional bearings that are anti-rust by hot-dip galvanizing only have the longest service life of about 20-25 years depending on environmental conditions. However, Kawakin's pot bearings with Al-Mg plasma arc metal coating protection can protect the bridge bearings against corrosive agents for more than 100 years.*

3. Special sliding material with high wear resistance, low coefficient of friction

   The PTFE sliding material is reinforced with glass fiber reinforcement to increase the wear resistance of the material.
